Spring Break Movies

The Godfather Trilogy Francis Ford Coppola and young Al Pacino. Marlon Brando was the only true Godfather. Andy Garcia made an excellent godfather as well. And seeing Sofia made me flutter even though her acting wasn’t all that great.

12 Angry Men Noemi recommended it to me. The entire story was marvolous and I have no words to explain how much I enjoyed it. I instantly fell in love with Henry Ford and the grandpa in the story~

Breakfast at Tiffany’s I cannot believe I’ve never seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s until now. It’s a very cute story and I could only dream of living Audrey Hepburn’s life in New York City.

Gone With the Wind I only planned on watching the first part last night and then continue the second part the next day. But I could not stop the movie! I fell in love with Clark Gable. His character swept me off my feet. And when he said, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.” I felt as if he were saying it to me! I cried twice, first when it showed Rhett Butler loving his daughter Bonnie and second at the end when he said that famous line.

A Walk in the Clouds Daddy told me to watch it. It is one of his favorite movies that he watched with my mom. It is a cute love story under unusual circumstances. Keanu Reeves has never looked better in any other movie. I love happy endings.

Casablanca “Here’s to looking at you kid.” I had to google that phrase. He said it about three times in the movie and I didn’t understand it at all. Apparently it is like a cheer to life. I had to watch this classic because it was considered the best movie of all time. But because I watched so many other romance movies with similar storyline, I did not enjoy it much. Casablanca being the first of its kind, it is truly a classic.

The Quick and the Dead Yes, the only reason I watched it was because of Russell Crowe. The screenplay was obviously very popular with most people because of its fun story. I say it was worth the watch but not the best. The ending was very obvious but it was entertaining.

Sex in the City It was on TV. I watched it before on a plane and yes it was entertaining but not memorable. It would be very fun to be a privileged woman living in Manhattan.

The Men Who Stare at Goats Interesting… But I could’ve lived without watching it. I only watched it because I was obsessing over George Clooney right before I made the decision of which movie to watch for the night. And it also had my favorite actors Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges and Ewan Mcgregor. Btw, George Clooney is the definition of a handsome gentleman.

Limitless Sarah watched it and told me it made her jumo out of her seat. So of course I had to see what all the commotion was about. It was a typical hollywood movie that was worth the ten bucks at the movie theater but not the most memorable movie. The ending was perfect though, I love movies where the main character gets what he wants.

It Happened One Night What a cute story! It’s an easy movie to fall in love with. After watching Clark Gable in Gone With the Wind I found this movie. Honestly, I only watched it for Clark Gable. He is like the first George Clooney of his time. I love following their journey and love. And of course, there was a happy ending.

I have yet more movies to watch! SPring break is coming to an end but now my sudden urge to watch the old classics will not die!
